The cross you see above is setting in a camp called camp barnabas! It is called inspiration point and each of the brass plates on the cross is to give love and honor to each camper who has passed through the camp and wont be returning because they are no longer with us. I first learned of Camp Barnabas on the internet and the things I saw on their website just spoke love and hope into each child and each family and every situation that that they face. They point the campers to Christ while reassuring them of love and worth. My kids got to go and I believe it was a God centered journey for them. My son came back and said: "mom I know that I haven't had it as bad as some of the other kids have and they love Jesus! I know that when I go through my surgery it will be painful but I will have God and I can make it too"  And, he never wavered from those words and I am thankful that he had camp barnabas expirence before he did have surgery. It just confirmed to me .. who my son is! He is a child of God and a believer in the word. He was told that he could climb the wall... Thank  you to the Tea's family and to everyone who took part in making this trip happen!!!!

The first section of this page is taking the kids to drop them off. The second section is just a little fun on 4th of July and my very first spent without my kids. And the last section of this page is Cindy Frank and I picking them up. The picture below is a very special thing that the campers do at camp called the standing 0.  And, the best explaination is ... It just makes you feel good! My kids still love doing it!
